About Hayley
I'm a Registered Psychologist with over 25 years experience working in a range of settings. I began my career in Cairns, and over the last 15 yrs, I've worked in a range of roles in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. I offer both in person; and Online Telehealth Psychology appointments with clients, in regional and metropolitan areas, around Australia.
I'm compassionate, gentle and non-judgemental and genuinely enjoy helping my clients journey towards health and healing. My intention is to create a sense of therapeutic safety, so you can feel as comfortable as possible. Together we will work towards a shared understanding of your needs, at a pace that feels right for you.
My practice draws on attachment theory, trauma informed care principles and the complex interplay between mind and body. I have a relational, integrative, and person-centred approach.
I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic therapies including Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
I've completed additional training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga , Mindfulness practices; Infant and Perinatal Mental Health and Circle of Security Parenting.
